Dr. Francis Amponsah-Dacosta is currently, the CEO of Erasko Lifters Training and Consult Limited and Head of Department of the Mining & Environmental Geology Department, University of Venda, South Africa.

He has worked as the Senior Lecturer of the Mining & Environmental Geology Department, teaching modules including Mining and Environmental Policies and Legislation, Small-scale Mining, Mine Development and Mining Operations, Surface Mining, Mineral Processing, Mine Management Principles and Techniques, Geotechnical Engineering, Mine Health and Safety, Mine Transport and Engineering Systems, Mine Rehabilitation, Integrated Mine Water Management.
